Graduated in Civil Engineering in 1977 from College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram.
Completed M.Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT Madras in 1979.
Joined Kerala PWD in1979 as Assistant Engineer and worked in the Design wing where the design of Irrigation structures are done.
On promotion to Superintending Engineer moved to the Engineering wing of Local Self Government Department and retired as Chief Engineer from there in 2012.
From August 2012 working with this Institute.
